Squamous-cell carcinoma arising in mucosa overlying torus palatinus

      Abstract

      A case of squamous-cell carcinoma in the mucous membrane overlying a torus palatinus is reported. Although it is unusual for these tori to take a cancerous course, any long-persisting ulcers in or around such benign ostoses should be considered potentially malignant.
