Abstract
The indications for the utilization of a prefabricated silk-braided wire suture (Ethicon,
Inc.) in the surgical treatment of salivary stones of the oral floor have been discussed.
Two case reports have been presented, to demonstrate the successful application of
this radiopaque suture material.
