Comparison of Dycal and formocresol pulpotomies in young permanent teeth in monkeys

      Abstract

      Dycal and formocresol pulpotomies were performed on forty immature permanent teeth of three young adult monkeys. Findings indicate that continued root development occurs with both materials and that failure is due to bacterial infection of the pulp.
