      Iatrogenic paresthesia in the third division of the trigeminal nerve remains a complex clinical problem. The clinical results with nerve repair in this region have minimally progressed in the past 25 years. Complete clinical recovery remains a rare outcome particularly for functional endpoints. Moreover, nerve lesions result in a wide array of debilitating symptoms and conditions such as paresthesia and dysesthesia to name a few.
